Their account of the demon begins to mirror the nightmares that have been tormenting him — and the deeper he digs, the less certain he becomes that he is the one asking the questions.

Told through letters, transcripts, and emails, and framed by a present-day discovery in the Imperial Conflicts Archive in London, He Who Has Done Evil follows Woodrow as the siege collapses around him and a past he cannot escape closes in. It is a relentless, atmospheric fusion of historical fiction and supernatural terror, in which colonial sins return with teeth and claws to prove that the ghosts of empire do not rest. They hunt.
